David Lovell

Direc­tor of Mar­ket­ing

David directs Swan’s mar­ket­ing and engage­ment ini­tia­tives. This includes devel­op­ment and exe­cu­tion of mar­ket­ing pro­grams for Swan’s web­sites, con­tent, com­mu­ni­ca­tions, events, and media.

Pri­or to join­ing Swan, David worked for U.S. News Uni­ver­si­ty Con­nec­tion, where he direct­ed dig­i­tal mar­ket­ing and busi­ness devel­op­ment. He had also man­aged a pri­vate mar­ket­ing con­sul­tan­cy for 3 years pri­or to mov­ing to U.S. News.  As the dig­i­tal mar­ket­ing direc­tor at The Ele­phant Group, David spear­head­ed a cross-func­tion­al team respon­si­ble for devel­op­ing and deploy­ing dig­i­tal mar­ket­ing strate­gies for this lead­ing autho­rized retail­er of home ser­vices brands, like Ver­i­zon, Com­cast, AT&T, and ADT.

David honed his mar­ket­ing and cam­paign man­age­ment skills as a man­ag­ing part­ner of Kar­ma Snack, an Inter­net mar­ket­ing agency in Mia­mi, where he super­vised a 21-per­son divi­sion respon­si­ble for effec­tive­ly deploy­ing over $18 mil­lion in com­bined media bud­gets. He was respon­si­ble for the agency’s mar­ket­ing oper­a­tions as well as pre­mier account man­age­ment. In addi­tion, David also owned and served as prin­ci­pal bro­ker for DL Mort­gage & Finan­cial, Inc., a Mia­mi-based mort­gage bro­ker­age focus­ing on bou­tique and for­eign nation­al lend­ing.

David began his career in the finan­cial indus­try at Mass Mutu­al, where he held life, health and dis­abil­i­ties insur­ance licens­es, as well as Series 6 and 63 licens­es. Davis is cur­rent­ly an Invest­ment Advi­sor Rep­re­sen­ta­tive.

David earned a B.S. in Eco­nom­ics from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Vir­ginia.
