Director of Marketing
David directs Swan’s marketing and engagement initiatives. This includes development and execution of marketing programs for Swan’s websites, content, communications, events, and media.
Prior to joining Swan, David worked for U.S. News University Connection, where he directed digital marketing and business development. He had also managed a private marketing consultancy for 3 years prior to moving to U.S. News. As the digital marketing director at The Elephant Group, David spearheaded a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying digital marketing strategies for this leading authorized retailer of home services brands, like Verizon, Comcast, AT&T, and ADT.
David honed his marketing and campaign management skills as a managing partner of Karma Snack, an Internet marketing agency in Miami, where he supervised a 21-person division responsible for effectively deploying over $18 million in combined media budgets. He was responsible for the agency’s marketing operations as well as premier account management. In addition, David also owned and served as principal broker for DL Mortgage & Financial, Inc., a Miami-based mortgage brokerage focusing on boutique and foreign national lending.
David began his career in the financial industry at Mass Mutual, where he held life, health and disabilities insurance licenses, as well as Series 6 and 63 licenses.
David earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
